Where your data lives
In Notion’s cloud; Notion says it uses AWS and Cloudflare for its infrastructure.
On your device first, encrypted with keys only you hold; an encrypted backup syncs to Anytype’s EU servers unless you self-host or stay local-only.

Our take
A good fit if you want your notes encrypted on your own device. It is not a drop-in Notion replacement for large teams, and the licence is not open source.
