Where your data lives
On servers you run yourself, or with the managed provider you choose.
On your own server, or in a Typesense Cloud region you choose.
Getting started
Difficulty: Advanced You run and secure a Java-based server from the command line (Docker, Linux packages or the Windows zip), or pay a managed provider.
Difficulty: Advanced Using it for free means running a server from the command line. Typesense Cloud avoids servers but is paid after a one-time free allowance, and your site still needs code to use it.
Hosted version
NoneThe project has no hosted version of its own; opensearch.org lists third-party managed providers such as Amazon OpenSearch Service.
Typesense CloudPay by the hour; the first 720 hours and 10 GB of bandwidth are free once per account, not every month.
