Steps for Windows

  1. On proton.me/drive/download click “Download for Windows” (x64 for Intel/AMD, ARM64 for ARM PCs).
  2. Run the .exe and sign in with a Proton account (a free account includes 5 GB).
  3. Pick the folders to sync and click “Finish setup”.

Steps for Mac

  1. Download the Mac app from proton.me/drive/download (macOS 13 or later).
  2. Drag Proton Drive into Applications and open it.
  3. Log in, then click “Enable” in the Proton Drive folder in Finder to start syncing.

Steps for Web browser

  1. Create a free account (5 GB) from proton.me/drive.
  2. Use Proton Drive in your browser at drive.proton.me.
